It officially supports the PlayStation 3 when in PS3 mode, even the PS button works. Even if you don't do that, they activate quickly and don't require too much pressure. You can place your thumb in the middle and pivot the D-pad with ease. ![]() The D-pad is much better than a Dualshock 4's D-pad, which is absolutely horrible to use. All the buttons are very responsive and easy to press (but not easy to press on accident! :D) It uses a button instead of a trigger for R2/RT and L2/LT. ![]() Once I found his review of this controller, I knew I had to get it, even if it meant ordering one from the United States. I just wanted a casual 6-button controller to play with Skullgirls, it didn't have to be a gamepad so I was even willing to learn how to use an 8-way "clicky" stick. I bought it at the recommendation of the YouTuber and fighting game enthusiast TheNihongoGamer, and it is mostly what I was looking for. A very sorry point I must confess.ītw, this pad is for both PS4 and PC, a nice bonus! And can also be programmed to be used with emulation station. One negative point, this controller DOES NOT include a mic jack, so you can't play online and talk to your friends with this pad. I am finding this pad to be more elusive to shop for as time goes on (I have just purchased my second) so I recommend you pick this bargain up before it ceases in production. It irradicates the aforementioned issues whilst providing a pad that has been ergonomically designed to fit your hand as easily as possible whilst trying to pull off the perfect combo in Street Fighter! ![]() The PS4 and Xbox one controllers are not accurate enough for d pad inputs and the 4 face buttons leave us needing to use shoulder buttons which does not feel natural. The pad is a necessity for those of us who play 2d fighting games. So I will keep this short and sweet as I can see by other reviews that the general consensus, which I agree with, is that this controller is exceptional.
